La Celebración de las Bellas Artes
This year, the National Spanish Honor Society is excited to have hosted its first ever “Celebración de las Bellas Artes” to celebrate the rich Spanish culture here at SLHS!​
Members participated in a variety of celebrations. From singing to playing Spanish songs with instruments. This video is a great showcase of the talent of our members.​

Casa de Esperanza
Each year, NSHS partners with Casa de Esperanza Houston to provide for children in crisis. Casa is a community that embraces troubled children and places them in a home with volunteers who care for them.
​
As a charitable organization, Casa sometimes struggles to obtain basic supplies to care for the children they serve. That's where NSHS comes in. Each fall, we donate diapers, baby wipes, children's books and clothes to Casa de Esperanza. In 2016, NSHS purchased a brick that sits on a pathway in the Casa community. Our service and donations support the Casa mission and the children of the greater Houston community.
